MOLECULAR IDENTITY
7 or 43?
The difference matters.
TB-500 is a name used for products with differing descriptions. The analytically identified fragment is Ac-LKKTETQ: seven amino acids with an acetyl group at one end. Full-length thymosin β4 has 43. Select a schematic to see their relationship.
Ac is a chemical group, not an eighth amino acid. Letters represent amino acids, not atoms. Esposito · 2012 ↗
Region 17–23 contains LKKTETQ. The diagram shows chain positions, not the three-dimensional shape. A fragment does not automatically retain every property of the full molecule.
Beside each study you will find the molecule actually tested: acetylated TB-500, non-acetylated LKKTETQ or full-length thymosin β4. Forum accounts retain the author’s product name; product identities are unverified.

Malinda and colleagues observed endothelial cell migration with full-length thymosin β4. These cells line blood vessels. The glowing flow illustrates vascular biology, without representing a TB-500 measurement.

Actin can assemble into filaments. Thymosin β4 interacts with free actin and helps regulate that pool. Binding involves several regions of the full molecule; the short fragment is not a replacement with identical properties.

In aged-mouse experiments, non-acetylated LKKTETQ supported skin-wound repair. This is an interesting research lead. It is not the same preparation as acetylated TB-500, nor a human tendon study.

COMMUNITY VOICES
More comfortable.
More mobile.
Favourable accounts from Reddit and forum logs. These are selected paraphrases, not a survey: products, diagnoses and causes of change are not independently verified.
Comfort gradually returning.
In “TB500 Log – Will it heal?”, the author describes decreasing discomfort in both shoulders over two weeks. They had adapted their training and do not confirm healing through investigations.
More mobility after years of stiffness.
In “Tb500 / mobility”, a person describes greater ankle mobility after BPC-157 + TB-500 alongside rehabilitation. The author explicitly questions how much each component contributed.
Returning to movement and training.
In a shoulder-surgery discussion, a commenter describes less dull aching after adding BPC-157 + TB-500. They had already returned to sport before the peptides and emphasise rehabilitation and prior fitness.
SIDE EFFECTS

when things go wrong.
Favourable experiences alone do not describe a safety profile. Below we distinguish reported symptoms from assessed risks.
What appears in the forum log
The same author describing shoulder improvement reports local pain and itching after administration. A small number of accounts cannot establish frequency.
What remains unresolved

06 / FAQ
Your questions.
Clear answers.
The dossier, explained simply. Open a question for the answer and its source.
What is TB-500?
In this dossier, TB-500 means the acetylated fragment Ac-LKKTETQ. The commercial name may also appear on differently described products.
Source & context ↗Does it have 7 or 43 amino acids?
The fragment has 7; full-length thymosin β4 has 43. The Ac group is not an additional amino acid.
Source & context ↗How is it related to actin?
The sequence comes from a region of thymosin β4 involved in its relationship with actin. The full molecule’s interaction also involves other regions.
Source & context ↗Why is it discussed for recovery?
Research on thymosin β4 and its fragments includes cell migration and animal skin repair. Communities add accounts of comfort and mobility. These are different kinds of information.
Source & context ↗Are the human studies about TB-500?
The two human studies shown here tested full-length thymosin β4, intravenously and as eye drops. They cannot be attributed to the acetylated fragment.
Source & context ↗How soon should an effect be noticed?
Accounts have different contexts and timelines. They do not provide a validated recovery schedule; pain disappearing alone does not confirm injury repair.
Can dosing frequency be inferred from half-life?
A study of a different molecule or administration route does not establish a TB-500 regimen. Videos are research starting points, not validated clinical protocols.
Source & context ↗What about the stomach and intestine?
See the BPC-157 dossier for digestive research discussed in the Wolverine context. One ingredient’s effects do not automatically transfer to the other.
What do we know about side effects?
Local reactions are reported; frequencies are not established. The dedicated section separates personal accounts from safety assessment.
Where can I buy it?
MYBB does not sell products or recommend suppliers. A label alone does not confirm identity, purity or suitability for treatment.
Is it allowed in sport?
WADA lists thymosin β4 and its derivatives, such as TB-500, as prohibited at all times.
